Mike Gunn
A misspent youth and a series of grim jobs cultivated Mike’s cynical outlook on life and a perverse desire led him to the world of stand-up. A self-confessed pessimist, he describes himself as “not a natural choice for a career in laughter”. Hailed as “one of the top ten stand-ups in the land” by The Independent, Mike is a first class stand-up with an intelligent, edgy, and well-crafted routine. An incredibly engaging and skilful comic with a distinctive deadpan, laconic delivery, Mike has performed around the globe and headlines at all the leading UK comedy venues.
Peter Brush
Peter Brush, a gifted comedian with an inimitable style, has been lighting up stages across the UK and beyond with his unique brand of humour. Known for his distinctive stage presence, marked by a slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, Brush has an uncanny ability to captivate audiences with an arsenal of finely-crafted jokes and original routines.
A former BBC New Comedy Award finalist, Brush has a knack for razor-sharp, quirky one-liners, delivered in his signature awkward fashion. His comedic prowess has not only led him to become a staple act at comedy clubs across the country, but also earned him the title of Harrogate Comedian of the Year.
Jules O’Brian
Brummie based Jules performs around the country, telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang–ups, parenting, and dating. This former teacher’s relaxed, chatty style, crowd interaction and warmth, all served with a sardonic wit, make her a natural crowd pleaser.
Jules was nominated for the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent award in 2022, and was shortlisted for Funny Women 2023.
She performs her one woman show, “Avoid excessive cleavage (and other advice to ignore)” at comedy festivals, and gives talks about having embarked on her comedy career as an older woman, to various groups.
