Kicking away the winter blues we welcome to our programme a brand-new regular stand-up comedy club featuring some of the best UK comedians on the UK stand-up circuit for your laughing pleasure!
To kick it all off we have for you Chris Brooker, Jules O’Brian, Mad Ron and Tal Davies!!
**Do note that line ups are subject to change**
Mad Ron
Fresh from a recent ‘stretch’ (at His Majesty’s Service) Ron is back and at ‘em with his unique brand of stand-up comedy.
Mad Ron – The Third Hardest Man in Uxbridge, is a comedy creation of Steve Lee, it taking the comedy world by storm. His performances are a whirlwind of humour and madness, where traditional stand-up norms are gleefully discarded. Hilarious and slightly mad.
‘A masterclass in criminality and comedy writing’ Lucy Porter
‘Very Funny’ Paul Sinha
Jules O’Brian
Brummie-based Jules performs around the country, telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang–ups, parenting, and dating. This former teacher’s relaxed, chatty style, crowd interaction and warmth, all served with a sardonic wit, make her a natural crowd-pleaser.
“Funny as f***” Mama Life Magazine
“Slick writing with a twinkle in her eye.” Scott Bennett
Tal Davies is a comedian, writer and self-proclaimed scumbag who blends toe-curling anecdotes with dry observational humour, delivered with a warm, likeable stage presence and a deadpan Brummie accent.
A BBC New Comedy Award regional finalist, Funny Women finalist, and British Comedian of the Year semi-finalist, Tal was also crowned Breakthrough Act at the Midlands Comedy Awards and has supported the likes of Milton Jones, Paul Choudry and Josh Pugh on tour. She’s a BBC Writersroom alumni and credited screenwriter for BBC Three’s The Break.
Chris Brooker
A gifted performer, Chris Brooker has taken his unique mix of comedy and improvisation to stages all over the world. After a decade on the UK comedy circuit Chris has forged a fine reputation for himself as a stand-up comedian and compère. His versatility has seen him play to audiences of all sizes and backgrounds, winning them over with his infectious enthusiasm, swift wit and immense likeability. Dubbed comedy’s ginger Viking by a promoter, he really is a larger than life character.
One of comedy’s heavy hitters, Chris Brooker’s infectious energy and enthusiasm sweeps through a room like an irresistible force. Chris’ combination of hilarious, original material and inspired improvisation means that you will never see the same routine twice. Immensely likeable, there’s no doubting his ability to win over any crowd and drag them along for the ride. ‘Very funny, very quick… On the spot humour.’ BBC ‘The best act of the night, his quick wit silencing hecklers and getting plenty of laughs.’ Manchester Evening News ‘The revelation of the night. Spot on.’ Now Toronto
